Planning Your Bar
How much alcohol do I need? Do I need one or two bartenders? I'm sure you have lots of questions. We're here to help!
How Much Alcohol Do I Need?
Planning the right amount of alcohol for a wedding or event is essential for guest experience and keeping the budget in check.
The starting general rule is estimate one drink, per guest, per hour. So, if the event is 2 hours with 50 guests, you'll need 100 servings of alcohol.
Of that 100 servings, we will allocate 40% beer, 40% spirits, and 20% wine. Depending on your guests preference, these percentages can be changed, but this is a great starting point.

Open Bar Or Cash Bar?
An open bar, where the host covers the cost of all drinks, often enhances the festive atmosphere and ensures guests feel pampered. However, it can be quite expensive.
On the other hand, a cash bar, where guests pay for their own drinks can significantly reduce costs, limit excessive drinking, and help the host recoup some of the cost of the event, which works great for weddings!
We are able to provide both open bar and cash bar services, whichever you choose!
Do I Need A Portable Bar?
Looking for the perfect bar setup for your event? We offer flexible options to suit your needs!
Choose our small portable bar for intimate gatherings and smaller events, or opt for our large portable bar designed to accommodate two bartenders—ideal for bigger crowds and faster service.
If your venue already includes a bar, we’re happy to work with that too, ensuring seamless integration and top-notch service. Whatever your choice, we’ll make sure your guests are served in style!
When will the Bar Open And Close?
Choosing the right opening and closing hours for your wedding or event bar is key to keeping the celebration flowing smoothly.
Consider aligning the bar opening with cocktail hour to welcome guests with a refreshing drink, and decide whether you’d like it to stay open through dinner or pick up again for the reception party.
For closing time, think about your venue’s policies, transportation plans, and the vibe you want to end on—whether it’s a lively last call or a relaxed wind-down. We’ll help you tailor the timing to match your perfect day!
